Deepika Padukone is new heart beat of teenagers as well as a talented new face in bollywood. She has proved talent in her first bollywood mives “Om Shanti Om” in which her co-star was Bollywood king Shahrukh Khan. Deepika was born on 5th January 1986 in Copenhagen, Denmark. She is a daughter of famous Indian badminton player Prakash Padukone. Deepika has a younger sister Anisha.

Deepika Padukone started career as a model. She has done modeling for many brand names including Liril, Close-Up toothpaste, Dabur Lal powder and Limca. Deepika Padukone has chosen as the brand ambassador of Levi Strauss, Kingfisher Airlines and Tissot SA.

After becoming a popular model she moved to bollywood. Her first movie was Om Shanti Om that was the biggest hit of the year. Her other movies are Bachna Ae Haseeno, Chandni Chowk to China, Billu Barber and upcoming movie is Love Aaj Kal.
